Found a bug or want to suggest a feature? Open an issue on our GitHub repository. You can report calculation inaccuracies, request support for new regions or currencies, or submit feature ideas like additional moving methods or export options. We review all issues regularly and respond to most within a week.
Embed and Partnership Inquiries

Common Questions Before Contacting Us
Before reaching out, you may find what you need in one of these resources:
- How does the calculator work? Our About page explains the three-stage calculation process in detail, including our data sources, per-mile rates, and region cost multipliers.
- Is my data collected or shared? No. Everything runs in your browser. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect (only anonymized analytics) and what we do not (everything else).
- How accurate are the estimates? Our FAQ section on the homepage addresses accuracy, data sources, and how to interpret the estimates. The short answer: they are planning baselines, not binding quotes.
- How often are rates updated? We review and update our per-mile rates quarterly. The "Updated" badge on the homepage reflects the most recent review date.
- Can I use the calculator internationally? Yes. We support US, Canada, UK, Australia, and India with region-adjusted pricing and local currency display. See the calculator for details.
- What if my moving quote is very different from your estimate? Our estimates are based on national averages. Your actual quote depends on weight, season, add-on services, and local market conditions. If the difference is extreme — especially if a mover's quote is much lower — read our guide to understanding moving quotes to check for red flags.

If you represent a moving company and want to verify or update the pricing data we use for your brand, please email us with your company name, USDOT number, and the specific rates or information you would like us to review. We welcome corrections and update our data quarterly. Note that we do not accept paid placements, advertising, or lead-generation partnerships — our comparison is unbiased by design.
